Yellow Breeches, 04/13/26
I met up with Jon and Eric for a fun 1/2 day. We fished from 9AM until 1PM. The weather was great. It was mostly cloudy, a 40 minute rain shower came through then sunny skies. The air was 56 degrees and warmed to a nice 75 degrees with the sunshine. The water was clear, 53 degrees. There were a bunch of tan and black caddis hatching with a few small browns rising. We still fished nymphs off indicators. I spent a little time with some instructional things, but nothing major with these guys. This was a nice meet and greet since they will be on my Antietam water Sunday. They missed some and had some come off. Still we put 5 in the net including two nice rainbows. They are going to love what lies ahead for them, “Welcome to Antietam”.
