Falling Springs, Broc Miller guide, 03/07/26

Brock and Dan fished from 8:30AM until 3PM. The water was close to 50 degrees and clear. No prolific hatches but they did see a few midges and blue winged olives. Dan wanted to be more educated on Euro Nymphing and they did that on the in-town section. Dan got much more comfortable so they moved to the Fly Fishing Only section. Dan caught 2 beautiful wild rainbows, 1 around 6” and another between 10”-11”. Unfortunately he missed 2. Needless to say, that is quite a great day on the Falling Springs. All the hits today were Euro Nymphing in the deeper swift runs with 1 being caught on a midge, and the other on a scud.  Dan said he learned so much.
