Erie Steelhead, 11/03/25

My good friend Jake and Gianna have been up chasing steelhead. I hate that we live so close back home and I'm just too busy to fish with two great friends. So we fished up here. We met at 6:45 am. It was not a bad 45 degree start. Sunny skies truned windy, cloudy and ended with rain. The water was low, clear and you must walk to find the steelhead. Gianna was already so happy that she had caught one on her own the day before, she said just help Jake. Jake missed three and as the masses crowded the hole we left. So, I said lets hunt. We moved and walked. That made for 1 that broke off and two in the net.

The next day, 11-04-25 was my rest and fish day. I scouted and brought in a nice one. Hoping Jake was out, I texted him. We met up and he went with me. In less than a half hour I netted two for him. The rain that's coming in will bring more fish into the tribs.
