Man, I had a great morning with Tim. Tim knew nothing about fly fishing and was so ready to get into the sport. So we set off at 8AM under sunny skies and wrapped things up by noon. It was very pleasant out. The water is holding its own, clear and 63 degrees. Not much hatching and a few rising trout. I started out with a casting lesson. It was not long before Tim picked it up. I started off with nymphing techniques and he missed two. Then switched to dry fly fishing techniques. Tim did great. Missed two and had a small brown on. While I was doing both, taught him how to read water, feeding lanes and much more. I love teaching!
