Great morning with Christian.  She was so ready to go when she met me at my house.  We fished from 8:30AM until 1PM.  It got warm quick under the sunny skies.  I don’t like to wet wade, but as 93 degrees set in I was glad that I did.  The water was OK flow, clear and 65 degrees.  There were trout rising in every spot we stopped at.  Caddis and terrestrials were on the surface for a main course.  Christian had never fly fished and was interested in the sport.  So a very quick casting lesson turned into, Mike, “Let’s go fish”.  Figured teach her how to nymph with indicators for step #1.  Well, y mouth fell to the water because it looked like she had fly fished forever.  She missed three and had a good rainbow on.  I kept moving forward and we tried dry/droppers.  Christian had a little issues at first landing the dry softly on the water.  That soon was changed as I worked on her casting timing.  End result dropper made for 3 more and she landed one with my help.  It was a load of fun we had in a short day.  Needless to say, my next day not scheduled Christian is all in.
