Not much of a fishing report. Joe and I decided since we live 5 minutes away from each other to bail out giving the weather that was to come in. His full day was, 1 to see where he could fish and 2 work with him. So we just decided to drive today and move the fishing to later in May. The water is clear, 49 degrees and great flow. We did walk a few of the many access points I showed Joe. Did not see anything hatching but trout were rising. I’m sure that it was caddis, given the way the trout were splashing the surface. With that said, we saw plenty of trout at every spot we stopped. Great little stream in my backyard. My boyhood stream. We both can’t wait to “wader-up” and hit the water together.
