Antietam, 10/09/26

Tracy donated a trip to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Franklin County for a 1/2 day on Antietam and Jerry was lucky enough to have won it. He said he saw it and could not pass up the chance to get on our water. We started at 8AM and finished by noon. It was a chilly 43 degree started. Blue bird skies warmed to 70 degrees. Still plenty of tan caddis flying around. Some tricos and plenty of midges as well. Jerry told me he was a very good Euro angler, so I was going to put him to the test. He fished micro jig streamers that he ties the entire morning. Jerry started out sluggish. Losing one and missing two made me a bit worried. But, he pulled it together and went on a tear landing 3 browns, one of which was around 19”. Plus we put 2 good rainbows in the net as well. Can’t beat that kind of morning.
