I met Bill and Jim at the farmhouse Friday afternoon to show them around. I always try do to this when I can for guest who have never been here before. They loved the stream and saw quickly the big wild browns that are in the water system. I showed them were they could fish on there own which is very unique with private water. Met them Saturday at 7:30AM and Bill said they caught a 12” brown and several smaller browns.

They knew going into this weekend the water was low, clear and we have to fight for them. Stream was clear, low and 58 degrees. We had some rising trout to tan caddis and terrestrials. Still we punched through it and they had a great weekend. They loved the farmhouse which overlooks the stream.

Bill loves his dry fly fishing so I did my best to find that, but he did Euro many times. Jim fished Euro all weekend. The trout were stubborn. They caught many smaller wild browns. But still landed 10+ from 12 to 16 inches. We finished by hanging around the farmhouse, enjoying a cocktail under the warm fall sunshine and reflecting on what a fine weekend it was.
