Ron and I had such an amazing time with a great group of guys. Randy treated his employees to a weekend of fly fishing. Brian and Randy had fished here last year and loved it. So, Ed, Ed and Drew joined which all three were very new and never fly fished ever. Before going into the weekend they knew the water was low, clear, but as I told Randy, “I would never get you on the water if catching was not possible”. Saturday was sunny, 70’s and tough come afternoon. Sunday was cloudy and mid-60’s all day. Both days we did see some spotty rising trout to caddis and midges. Randy landed three on caddis emergers. Other than that it was all nymphs and streamers. It was a great fun time and many stories to be told for years. They all caught trout. Some were 4- to 10 inches, but many were 14 to 19 inches. Given the conditions I say 40 were caught during these two days on the water. Plenty of nice wild browns and a few big rainbows.
