The weather did not scare Kristen and Shannon from fishing today. We started before 8AM and fished till around 3PM. It was cloudy and 50 degrees and the rain set in around 11AM. The water is still 2.4’, clear and nothing hatching. Water is 54 degrees. We set off with Euro rods and Kirsten helped Shannon better her skills. Both the girls could probably catch a trout out of a mud puddle. I knew if the trout cooperated it was going to be a great day. It did not take long and trout were in the net. Hit a little water that was slow on the action. We put 20 in the net. Only 4 rainbows, one which was around 17 inches. The rest were all small and mid-teen browns. Warmer water really has the wild browns active again. It was such a great time on the water with these two.
