SCPA Stream Report, 02/17/26

Finally, a little break from the frigid cold that froze many streams over. Remember to watch the fishing regulations. My private water can be fished as well as the “Special Reg.” streams year-round. Many other streams are closed until 8AM April 4th., 2026. The springs creeks, Falling Springs, Big Springs and Letort are more than fishable. My Antietam is finally trying to rid the ice. The Yellow Breeches can be fished in the “Special Reg. section only. Little BWO activity, but midges and some black stoneflies can be found on warmer days.

I’m getting full into June. Still have dates open and that will tighten up with 4 fly fishing shows to come. Hope to see you on the water. We all should have “Cabin Fever” by now.
