Private Antietam and Red Run Water, 03/25/24

Jerry and I met up around noon. We worked in the farmhouse and on the property to get it ready for a full season of guiding. We finished up around 1PM and we fished for about 1 hour. The water is in perfect shape. It is tinted and 48 degrees. There were some midge and BWO’s hatching. Jerry set up to Euro nymph and my rod still was set for streamers so that is what I did. I picked up a 16 inch wild brown that fought like a tank and a small wild rainbow on my Big Eye Rainbow. Jerry landed 3 nice browns. We are completely booked for April. There are a few dates in May and June we still have dates and that is the time these trout really start feeding off the surface. It is some amazing water.
